Gestern hatten wir noch darüber berichtet, dass der iPhone 4S untethered Jailbreak noch ein paar Probleme verursacht, doch wie pod2g heute auf seinem Blog schreibt, hat er das Caching-Problem behoben. Cydia Entwickler Saurik hilft ihm bei der Arbeit und behob mit ihm den Fehler. Der Jailbreak für A5 Geräte ist also fertig.
OK, figured it out, the A5 cache is not a problem anymore. I sorted it out by doing the untether in a single thread and by flushing all the dcache then all the icache in a row at a strategical point of the process. [..] Another news : I discussed with @saurik today about the launchd boot process, and he’s found one missing piece of the puzzle I needed to have a perfectly stable jailbreak. He’s definitly one of the best iOS gurus out there. Thank you saurik!
Es sieht ganz so aus als ob pod2g einen fast fertigen Jailbreak entwickelt hat, es kann sich hoffentlich nur noch um ein paar Tage handeln bis er den Jailbreak veröffentlicht. Ein Jailbreak Weihnachts-Geschenk?
